Next morning…today we are heading north on Hwy 89 through Logans Canyon, past the Grand Tetons and past Yellowstone. Going to be a good day.

Here is where hwy 89 turn north-east towards Logans Canyon.

Must still be in Utah…I keep seeing these.

This is Logans Canyon. It winds upward for 35 or so miles of glently sweeping turns. The road is great! The temps are cooler today.

Up and up and up.

Ronnie knows about this place called….umm, what was it called? Oh yea, Ricks Springs. I really liked this place because it’s a cave where a whole river comes out. I mean the river comes right up out of a hole in the ground. Amazing!

Here is a side cave I couldn’t see the end of it.

Here you can see the water bubbling up from the ground.

The road leading down to Bear Lake.

This is perfect riding. It’s not to hot, with nice views.

Yep, this is what it’s all about.

Here is Afton, WY. This whole arch is made of deer antlers. Very Kewl!

In fact this little town was so nice that we decided to spend the night.

The weather is cooling the whole time we are riding. More snow….

Ah, the Grand Tetons!

This is a one of a kind place. You drive on this high plateau with full view of the Tetons. Them are some nice Tetons eh?

And in case you missed it Ronnie is pointing it out for you…

And I’m pointing it out for the blind…

Yellowstone Gate.

First stop…porta pottie. Had to take a picture of the sign.

We start to follow this river. With the heavy water flows it made for some great river views.

Crossed the Continental divide…..several times.

And could this be Old Faithful?

I couldn’t go with out waiting for her to blow at least once.

Have to watch out for these….baaaad, baaaad!

It’s Yellowstone…you have to see it to believe it.

Hey! More buffalo!

So you’re riding through the park and get behind a truck with a very mean looking dog in the back. Now the dog starts barking as I get closer. I guess he doesn’t like my Honda and I start to bark back at the dog.

The truck pulled off…

Nice river.

I see we have picked up a HD rider. The more the merrier!

Just look at these great roads.

More hot springs.

The North Gate. Very nice.

Welcome to Montana.
Open prairie land. Green this time of the year.

Is Ronnie still behind me?

The weather is starting to turn.

As we wind through this canyon we have to stop and leather up.

It started to rain a little when we pulled into this little town that had a hotel. By now I was parking my bike on the sidewalk in front of our roomto get it out of the rain. As I’m unpacking this church group came walking by. About 8 or 9 people march by….wow.

Here are a few…very friendly folks.

A few more.
